Yes, the Asus laptop with a 45W power requirement is compatible with the 65W adapter. The laptop will only draw the amount of power it needs, so using a higher wattage adapter will not harm the laptop. In fact, using a higher wattage adapter may even allow the laptop to charge faster or support more power-intensive tasks. However, using a lower wattage adapter may not provide enough power for the laptop to operate or charge properly. **

Yes, the AC adapter can get hot during use, especially if it is being used to power a device that requires a lot of energy. This is normal and is usually not a cause for concern. An AC adapter, also known as a power adapter, is a device that converts the alternating current (AC) from a wall outlet into direct current (DC) that can be used to power electronic devices. It provides the necessary voltage and current to charge or power the device, allowing it to function properly. AC adapters are commonly used for charging laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other portable electronic devices. **

An AC power adapter is designed to convert alternating current (AC) from a wall outlet to direct current (DC) to power a laptop. On the other hand, an AC/DC power adapter can convert both AC and DC power sources to the appropriate voltage needed for the laptop. AC/DC power adapters are more versatile as they can be used with different power sources, while AC power adapters are limited to converting AC power only. **

The laptop's AC adapter stopped working and needs to be replaced. It may have become damaged or worn out over time, leading to a loss of functionality. It is important to replace the AC adapter to ensure the laptop can continue to receive power and function properly. **

The polarity of an AC adapter refers to the orientation of the positive and negative terminals. In most cases, the outer shell of the adapter is the negative terminal, while the inner pin is the positive terminal. However, it's important to check the specific adapter's labeling or documentation to confirm the polarity, as it can vary between different models and manufacturers. **

An AC adapter power supply can be purchased from a variety of places such as electronics stores like Best Buy or Fry's Electronics, online retailers like Amazon or eBay, or directly from the manufacturer's website. It is important to ensure that the AC adapter power supply is compatible with the specific device you are using it for, so it is recommended to check the specifications before making a purchase. **
